I have tried unsuccessfully on a number of occasions to update my ipad to ios 5. I just keep getting a box with telling me the ipad software update server could not be contacted. Please can someone help me with this as I don't know what to do next? Thanks

Update Server
Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
Are you using a business or home network? Your business could block Updates....
