Safari cannot play certain flash videos

After the latest update safari cannot play some flash videos, it can be a youtube video as well...

There's a hungarian site that has videos and my safari cannot play any of them. The site is www.indavideo.hu . On a MacBook Air the Outlook cannot open new mail and a Microsoft community site said that it is a problem caused by safari... What?

I've tried to delete flash, reinstall it, delete Java, reinstall it, but Java works fine.

I think I should reinstall Safari, but I don't want to reinstall the whole computer...

Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks,

Csaba

For Flash issues, try this ...

Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.

Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings

Back to Safari. Press Command + Option + E to empty the Safari cache.

Quit and relaunch Safari, try a video.

If that doesn't help, you may have the YouTube HTML5 beta enabled.

Opt out here > YouTube

Keep in mind, Outlook is a Microsoft product, not Apple and therefore, you may experience problems. However, you may be able to setup your Outlook account in the Mac Mail app.

Open Mac Mail. From the menu bar click File > Add Account

That way you won't have to use Safari (web based email) to access your Outlook acocunt.

Same here. I have Mac Book Pro 10.8.4 using Safari 6.0.5, Ever since the most recent update, there are a lot of videos on websites that don't play (and websites DO love the videos, don't they) that played before the update. I haven't done anything different than I was doing before and haven't changed any settings from what they were before. It all seems to hinge on the update (which included a Java Manage Website settings option). I don't think I even have Java installed (and I'm hoping that having accepted this update, it didn't install it now) and I have the enable Java button unchecked anyway, so I'm not sure what's going on. I don't seem to have any trouble with YouTube except videos there as well as some other sites, take a lot longer to start than they did before, but they do eventually play. It's videos at sites like abc and nbc that have their own embedded videos that won't play. And some on Metacafe have been problematic to name a few. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Same problem. I noticed the following error in the Safari Inspect Element:

Blocked a frame with origin "http://embed.indavideo.hu" from accessing a frame with origin "http://index.hu". The frame being accessed set "document.domain" to "index.hu", but the frame requesting access did not. Both must set "document.domain" to the same value to allow access.

This seems that the issue is at the index.hu side. Maybe somebody can provide us a Glimmerblocker script to mend this issue ... :-/
