Hi there, I'm looking to sell my Macbook Pro 15" and get a Macbook Air 13" for school. Can anybody help me figure out about how much my laptop is worth? I'm not sure what information is needed to help determine what it's worth, I'll post anything that is needed. Please help, thank you!

You are more likely to receive the upper range if you have all its original documentation, original OS X discs, a correct power adapter in good condition, and original packing materials. Configure it for sale properly and have a description that demonstrates you know what you're talking about.
Its value on the used market is affected by the fact that knowledgeable buyers realize your MacBookPro6,2 is not a particularly desirable model. Get what you can for it.
You can go on ebay and determine what the 'going rate' is on your laptop depending on also the condition it is in, ......if you have the original box,......etc.
Those here shouldnt speculate on your laptops current value. 😊
You can also enter your info into a site like www.gazelle.com and see what they would offer you for it. Keep in mind, they are buying devices to in turn make money off them when they re-sell them or recycle parts, so their offer factors in their hoped for profit on the item. But, it still gives you an idea of the apparent market value for your device.
