iMac Keyboard (wireless) and mouse acting up

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my wireless keyboard and mouse on my iMac (Mac OS X 10.7.5, updated, 2.7GHz Intel Core i5).

For some reason, both the keyboard and mouse (sometimes at the same time, sometimes on their own) start behaving weird, the mouse (magic mouse) only allows right clicks and the keyboard just enters the wrong letters and keys whenever I press a button, so much so that I have to shut off the computer.

Sometimes the problem goes away after a restart and then reappears right in the middle of working, sometimes a single restart doesnt help (which is bad because I need to enter my password upon restarting)..

Any help on what I can do?
