Can I transfer my game data and frm an old phone to my new one by clicking restore data frm previous bckup to my new phone?

I got my new iphone5 n i wanted to know if i could transfer the app data frm my old phone w/o ruining my new one...ive already put some of my old apps on the new one but i thought it my b easier to just restore my phone frm my last bckup on my old one.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4
