Aug 7, 2013 9:34 AM in response to LAA Halosby Kilgore-Trout,The email app does not support a distribution list set up for emailing. There are some third party apps in the app store that facilitate this, but none I can recommend first hand.

Sep 30, 2013 6:20 PM in response to LAA Halosby Plainsman5,Why can't you put each email address separated by a comma into the notes app, then copy and paste all of them into one email field within a contact? It worked for me on my iPhone and that's how I created a distribution list.

Jul 7, 2014 6:04 PM in response to rbrylawskiby Rick Whitelaw,Well, of course you CAN, but why should you have to? I'm sick to death of needing to send an email to a group thenreaching for a piece of paper to jot down members of a group then sending to each of these people. iOS should support sending mail to groups defined in the Contacts app. Very disappointing.

eMail Groups - You can use a third party app that many users recommend.
MailShot - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mailshot-pro-group-email-done/id445996226?mt=8
Group Email - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mailshot-pro-group-email-done/id445996226?mt=8

Sep 6, 2015 11:46 PM in response to Texas Mac Manby sergey vasiltsov,3rd party apps, copy-paste email lists - all of these solutions are too bad ideas. Especially at the corporate environment
We can to make a group of contacts via icloud.com, but we cant to use it with iOS. So bad.

Jul 10, 2016 2:07 PM in response to LAA Halosby babowa,Another thing to keep in mind is that every ISP - including web based email clients such as icloud - impose maximums in number of recipients, messages, attachments, etc. This is in order to cut down on mass mailings (spam). Here are the specs for iCloud (you need to check with your ISP re. theirs):
Mailbox size and message sending limits in iCloud - Apple Support
FWIW, my ISP limits messages to 25 recipients max.
