Until they fix it.  Maybe a couple of hours or so.  I'm sure you'll survive without a new App or an App update for a few hours.

 

This issue rarely happens.  Stop and consider how many times you have had NO problem whatsoever with the App store.  Even Babe Ruth & Hank Aaron didn't bat 1.000.

 

Be patient.
