I don't know? Do you have any insurance on the iPhone? You cannot add insurance to an already damaged device - no company will allow that.

The only parts available are used parts. Because there is no repair program for iOS devices, there is no parts supply chain other then private party salvaged used parts.

The out of warranty exchange fee from Apple will swap your damaged phone for a factory refurbished one - which does have a brand new screen and battery installed by the same company that makes new iPhones for Apple.

MONOPOLY? Do you have any idea what a monopoly is? Apparently not. According to an article in the NY Times today there are currently 4,000 different smartphones on the market, from over a dozen different manufacturers. A monopoly means that one company controls the market for a product or service class.

And if you ask any of those manufacturers every last one of them will tell you that their devices are not user serviceable.

Looking at that web site (and be sure to read the fine print at the bottom of the various parts pages - I love how they refer to these as "leaked" parts from "our suppliers") those are countefeit, as KiltedTim says, or outright stolen/blackmarket parts.

There is no legitmate source of Apple original equipment parts. Apple does not repair, and since all refurbishment is done by the original manufacturer in their own facilities, there has never been any point in setting up a parts distribution system. Anything you buy online is either used/recycled, stolen, or counterfeit/fake parts. But, believe what you will - it's your money to throw away.

The screen replacement option is only for some models of iPhone, is only available in some stores (and not all countries) and is a quite new option.

I have never known Apple to offer repair of a battery for any iOS device. Apple's battery replacement service for iOS devices involves replacing your entire device with a factory refurbished unit (as clearly explained in their support section on the iPhone battery replacement service). They do not service the battery in your existing device.

Other than that, no, they do not repair, they replace with service units, and send the exchanged item back to the manufacturer for recycle or refurbishment. Refrubished units all have new screens and new batteries.

And regardless, the initial answer to the original post is that there is no legitmate source of new original equipment parts for any iOS device. Even for those devices Apple is beginning to initiate in-store repairs for (the iPhone 5s and 5c were in part specifically redesigned to accomodate in-store repairs of some things), they will not sell just parts to anyone.
