How do I put my library on a device that has music from a different library on it already without deleting anything from both libraries?

I dont want everything transfered I only want a select few but I also dont want anything deleted on either library.
iDevices cannot be synced to multiple libraries.
Put all the content into a single library.
Select the content desired to sync.
Sync.
i have two libraries (my husband's and mine). We want to be able to add songs from each of our libraries to the other. How do I combine the libraries?
