I will be traveling from California to China

I am doing international flying from California to China and was wondering if I should carry extra batteries for my Macbook (13" white, early 2008). Also what other things do I need to know about taking my MacBook?

As long as you can re charge the battery when necessary, it should be ok.

Unfortunately, with a Mac running v10.6 Snow Leopard without iCloud, (requires OS X v10.8.2 or later), if the Mac was lost or stolen, you would not have anyway to locate it but there is a new gadget on the market called Tile ...
