Itunes match stuck at sending information to apple

Anyone else having issues tonight? Once a week the iTunes match seems to auto run the info gathering and send to apple. Normally it works fine although can be a but slow to get a response from apple sometimes. Tonight it just won't go past 'sending information to apple'. Each time I start iTunes it gathers the info to try again. Anyone else getting similar? My library has not changed in weeks so it can't be anything like that. I guess server issues at apples end?

Yep not working for me again now, stuck on sending info to apple. So frustrasting. GUess it will work eventually but may take several attempts and leaving for a good half hour or so.

Its so slack from apple, this has been a long standing issue and they have not sorted out. It's not congestion on my ISP, everything else runs lightening quick and beautifully. Its their shoddy servers. Maybe they should actually stop knocking out relentless iOS and iTunes updates which often break more than they fix - and focus on sorting existing problems like iTunes match!

I'm having the same problem in Orlando, FL right now. Happens to me every week or so. This is super annoying. I want to reformat my macbook, but can't untill I get all my songs into Match.

I had the same problem. A couple things that I did that worked:

1. I noticed that iTunes Match didn't have Firewall Permissions, so I added them to the permissions list.

2. I started iTunes in the safe mode (CTRL + SHIFT when opening). Apparently this disables visual plug-ins that could be causing problems.

After doing these things, I had no more lock-ups and all my music was available. Hope this helps!

My iTunes Match always takes more than a few hours to "match" 1-10 songs. I added 11 songs to my library yesterday at around 7-8pm and just now, at 12.50pm did it finally finish "sending information to Apple".

There has to be something I'm doing wrong for something so simple to take so long.

I feel like I'm back in the late 90s trying to connect with dial-up.

You are doing nothing wrong - it is an issue with iTunes/back end server...nothing more nothing less. Until Apple get their fat arrogant fingers out of their butts, this issue will remain!

My wife gave me her old iPhone and it is fulfilling all the hateful things I say about iPhones and iPads.

It simply will NOT sync to my MacBook, and I get this endless loop of "Sending...to Apple."

Amazing, that I use these things in an airline cockpit zipping along at 1,000 feet per second with 250 people sitting on the backside of the cockpit door. To me, Apple is a mess, slightly less dysfunctional than PCs.

Mine has been sticj for 72 hours - just given up to be honest. Match is just a crap product - end-of. Goggle play is miles better and they actually offer SUPPORT!

What a joke. It's reached that time of the week when it does it's gathering info thing and for 2 days since it's been trying but it's constantly stuck on 'sending info to apple' stage. Totally fed up - this is lousy apple

But Apple are a joke - a big fat arrogant joke. Everything they spew out now is not fit for purpose! There is no doubt in my mind that the QoS has gone down the pan during the last few years. Is it any wonder they are being trounced by the competition in virtually every field now?
