Itunes match stuck at sending information to apple

Anyone else having issues tonight? Once a week the iTunes match seems to auto run the info gathering and send to apple. Normally it works fine although can be a but slow to get a response from apple sometimes. Tonight it just won't go past 'sending information to apple'. Each time I start iTunes it gathers the info to try again. Anyone else getting similar? My library has not changed in weeks so it can't be anything like that. I guess server issues at apples end?

Cheers

Wayne

Mostly yes.

You can download a limited number of times to archive to a hard drive, so if you need local access to collection, you can get downloaded MP3/320 versions of your songs, but only four times (I think - check this out yourself).

However, with both Android and iOS versions of the app, you have the option to cache tracks/albums/playlists to your device and they will remain on the device. For example, you are flying and want to listen to music, you tap the push-pin and the selected stuff batch downloads and remains until you "un-pin" it. I do this when traveling.

Realistically, you don't. The problem is down to Apple, and they have already taken your money for iTunes Match, so they're not really motivated to fix it for you.

Some people have found some respite from this problem by signing out and in, or deleting their whole music library, or reformatting their hard drive, or jumping up and down on one foot, etc., but in practice there's not much difference between that and just waiting for a brief window when Apple's servers seem to be more capable of working properly.

The only approach I've found is to try matching at different times of the day/night. It seems that some times (often early morning UK time) are less problematic than others (probably because Apple's servers are less busy).

Your best bet would probably be to ask for a refund. (Or, like me, put up for it until your renweal date, then cancel.)

This has been happening to me for several days now - It just gets stuck at 'Sending information to Apple'. Signing out and back in again, then turning Itunes Match back on fixes it, but it only fixes it once, it gets stuck again next time Itunes Match tries to run.

Seeing how long this thread has been going onto, it's hard to believe Apple haven't fixed it yet. Especially as iTunes Match is a Premium PAY-FOR service....

Same issue using US iTunes store. Been "doing nothing" but send information to Apple now going on day two. iTunes and computer restarts have not made a difference. I'm on a MacBook OSX 10.9.2 and iTunes 11.1.5. I submitted a support request. I had hoped to get this rolling before leaving town on vacation (and not taking my primary computer) but it seems this issue won't get a quick fix. Disappointing. Help, please!
