problem with heating

I have a 15" mac book pro early 2011. It has been having heating problems for last few months. Has been to the apple support centre 2 times and they have not been able to fix the problem. Have escalated the issue with apple support as well but they too have not been able to do much. Does anyone know what next to do to get the problem resilved.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

What temperatures are you experiencing and what applications do you have open?

Download from the Bresink web site Temperature Monitor and install it:

http://www.bresink.com/osx/TemperatureMonitor.html

Open Activity Monitor and set it to ALL PROCESSES and %CPU to display values from high to low.

When your MBP gets hot, post images of both for examination.

Have you reset the SMC?

We may find something.

Also perform an Apple Hardware test:

See is this picks up any issues.

In addition, take off the bottom cover and see if thee is any dust or debris inside the MBP. Pay particular attention to the fans. (This will require a #00 Phillips driver)

Ciao.
