No way you bought version 6 just two years ago and you'll have to purchase a new key for version 7.

Aug 8, 2013 11:01 AM in response to dmeggby Jon Walker,When I upgraded to quicktime7 I lost Pro which I had purchased 2 years ago. Can I get it back without shelling out another $30+?
I am surprise you were able to still purchase a QT 6 Pro key as late as two years ago since the last Windows v6 release was in October of 2004. In any case, the answer is "No." QT 7 requires a separate QT 7 key. You should have upgraded to QT 7 sometime between 2005 and the present before purchasing the "Pro" pro key which should remain good until QT 7 is discontinued or a QT 8 version (if ever) is released.
ADDED: Oops! Late again...
