Tv series download help

I just downloaded series 4 of vampire diaries but when I went to watch the first episode only the first 20 seconds of the show is downloaded. Is this just because the rest of the episodes are still in the process of being downloaded and it will take a while for the whole season to be downloaded or has there been an error?
