Why are my iBook G4s internet pages not loading..?

Hi,

I have an iBook G4 laptop. It has a WIFI card installed and everything. but for some reason, it doesn't load the internet pages. it will load the apple website once in a while and will allow me to browse fine for a few seconds, but then it will just randomly sit there and load the next website page forever. Not sure what is going on. It isnt my WIFI connection because I worked off another laptop on the same WIFI signal and it works fine.

Any ideas? I think it may need the operating system reinstalled or a new WIFI card installed. Those would be my guesses. but I have no idea....

Please let me know any suggestions.

Thank you.

Hello,

I wouldn't have Throught the problem relates to your Airport card. What I would say is try an alternative web browser.

If your using safari on Mac OS X 10.4, then it may have issues rendering newer web pages or taking time to load.

Try a web browser called TenfourFox. It's designed specifically for older Macs.

Other things you could try are.

Clearing the cashe and clearing history/cookies.

You can do that in your web browsers preferences

Best of luck
