Q: iPod touch is not booting.Stuck in the apple logo.Tried restoring many times,but always some error pops up.Any help is appreciated...

My iPod touch 4th gen is not even 1 year old. this is the second time this is happening to me.The first time,a full restore solved my problem and now its not working a bit. always when the restore is about to finish, some error pops up.Tried restoring on may PCs. No use. Any help is appreciated.....

Have you tried resolveing the individual errors usning the informatipo provided here:
Update and restore alert messages on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Try posting the error messages here. We may be able to help

Now, no error is poping up.But my ipod and itune is stuck while restoring.the progress bar on ipod is approx. 40%,but that on itunes is 80%. itunes is no "Not Responding" and i use a PC,not a Mac.

- Try restoring on another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I tried on 2 computers.Many errors poped up.Now only this problem arises on both computers.....

I checked the nearest Apple authorized service provider.Its about 80KMs from my home...

Try DFU mode and then restore
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
