Q: How can I manually configure my Airport Express so it doesn't allow clients (client mode) and won't extend my Wi-Fi network?

When I follow the instructions from Apple for setting up my Airport Express in 'Client Mode' for Airplay use only, it still extends my network and allows clients to join. I cannot find any option for setting the Airport Express to 'Client Mode'. Anybody know?

When configuring the AirPort Express in Client Mode, it DOES NOT extend the existing wireless network. If configured properly it will perform as another wireless client and not as a router.

You may want to start the reconfiguration process again. Please double-check by using the following Apple Support article for details.
