Q: How to use a hot spot for computer, iphone and ipad

I'm going to Kauai and have never used a hot spot before. My girlfriend gave me her T-Mobile 4GLTE to use. Can you help me figure it out so I have connectivity when I get to Kauai?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.6.8), I, also, have an iPhone 5 and iPad

If you are using the T-Mobile 4GLTE as the hotspot simply configure the T-Mobile 4GLTE to be a hotspot and connect the iPad to the hotspot like you connect to any wifi network
