Faulty EarPods

I got some EarPods for Christmas and they have been great but as of today the right earphone stopped working and probably because of a loose wire I'm not sure if I can have it covered via warranty without a receipt but do know the serial code. Of instead is there any possible suggestions that could help fix them or even anything else I could do.
