my iphone screen have stopped working in the middle. havent dropped it so i dont know what the problem is. any suggestions ?

You iPhone 5 is still under warranty. Bring it to Apple for evaluation. If defective, it will be replaced.

yes, you can still bring it in. If there's more than just cosmetic damage as you're describing, then your warranty will be void and you will be charged $229 for the replacement.
