Re: The document “SpeechSynthesisServer.app” could not be opened because it is damaged or incomplete.

Like others ... I have gone from Snow Leapard to Mountain Lion 10.8.4 (yesterday) ... and I have lost ... SpeechSynthesisServer.app ...

How do I get it back?

As there was a program I used all the time ... and no longer can use it in MOUNTAIN LION ...

I have not tried the other programs, which I had used ...

But this one is important to me ...

Does anyone have any up-to-date suggestions on how to get 'the software' back on this operating system ...

I'm sorry to have lost this ability ... as the Rhyming program was crutial ...

You can't open the application "Merriam-Webster" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

But I was able to USE THIS PROGRAM ... when I had Snow Leapard - yesterday ...

Thank You

iMac (27-inch Late 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), software: Merriam-Webster Reference

Something went wrong with your upgrade.

Back up all data, then reinstall the OS. You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need your backup unless something goes wrong. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.

If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it.
