why does my ipod have a red x that appears on the screen saying www.apple.com/support/ipod on the bottm of the x ?

i hope you can answer my questoin... and my ipod is fixable or something

iPod classic, it just happened randomly

Restore iPod from Disk Mode

- Disconnect iPod from your computer.

- Manually put iPod into Disk Mode.

- Open the latest version of iTunesand connect iPod.

- Restore iPod.
