Aug 10, 2013 10:19 AM in response to aviscardiby Tesserax,It may be possible that during the process of replacing the iMac's motherboard that the technician either did not connect or properly connect the built-in Wi-Fi antenna to the AirPort card. It will really depend on the exact model of iMac that you have, but you can get an idea by going to the iFixIt site and looking up your model. If this is the case I would first visit a local Apple Store (if available) to confirm your findings. Otherwise I would recommend that you contact Apple for futher instructions on, whether or not, you need to ship it back to them.
