I have a 3gs and have used the same chargers (car & home) for years and all of a sudden today none of my chargers are working...went to purchase a new one & I'm still getting the same message "charging is not supported with this accessory"...any help would be appreciated.

If the chargers are original chargers manufactured by apple, you will not have an issue.
You probably bought a counterfeit charger.
started reading other posts about the same problem, & I guess it's usually because of a dirty port on the phone itself. My chargers are made by Apple and came with the device when I purchased it. I guess I will have to take it to an Apple store as I just tried cleaning it with a toothbrush as recommended and that did not work. Thank you for responding.
