itunes won't let me sign in

At the moment, iTunes won't even open at all. I continually put in the right password and it still does not work. For example, when I put in the wrong password it comes up with a message saying that either the password or email is wrong but when I put in the right password it simply loads and restarts- asking for my password once again. It is exceedingly frustrating. I have not be able to use iTunes in quite a long time.

"Sign in" may mean many different things here, as there are many ways to do this.

Try opening iTunes, clicking on "Store" near the upper right, then find the "Account" quick link on the right side and try signing in that way.

I have exactly the same problem. Tried in all areas to sign-in, including the suggesting by sberman (which is fairly obvious) but itunes won't open it's door. I can't even authorise this new iMac for itunes. So frustrating.

Yea, I have the same problem. I'm trying to sign up for an account but Itunes isn't working.
