how to see videos from Sony RX100 on iPhoto ?

With iphoto I see all my photos but not the videos from my sony rx 100.

iMac (24-inch Early 2008), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

What is the format of your videos? iPhoto does not yet support AVCHD video.

What version of iPhoto? You must have version 9.3 or newer for AVCHD support - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5251

If you do not use iMovie to import and view the AVCHD movies

Your advice was a great help and solved my problem.

I was a little bit confused, because with the panasonic HC-X929 I didnt have zhis problem.
