I have downloaded an audio book on my son's Nano but have put in my card details and email which seems to have changed the settings. It now asks if I want to erase all his library and install my own which just has the audio book in it. Can someone help?

It now asks if I want to erase all his library and install my own which just has the audio book in it. Can someone help? Also will this affect his iphone status with iTunes?

Hello robbinredbreast,

I'd recommend putting the iPod into 'manual mode.' This will need to be done from the computer that it's normally synced to in order to prevent removing existing content, but it can then be connected to your computer, and you can add the audio book without removing the current library on the device.
