help to configure apple remote desktop

Hello,
i tried everything to configure apple remote desktop, it works perfect when i am at home ( Lan, local ) but i often move to another towns and need to connect to my imac on network , nothing works.

Anyone would know a good Apple remote desktop tutorial for idiots like me ?
i have an imac 10.8.4 and a macbook pro 10.5.8 and a livebox orange as internet provider

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

I have the same question, but


1) I have 3 computers at my home network


ports 3283, 5900 and 5988 forwarding to my MacMini (ex. 192.168.1.2)

how to forward this ports for second Mac in the same network ? (ex. MacBookAir have 192.168.1.3)


2) Some times i need connect to MacBookAir my wife for help. Can i connect without knowing IP adress , but with iCloud ID (like BackToMyMac) ?
