Where did Migration Assistant put my imported Outlook mail folders?
Hello,
Look in System Preferences>Accounts, (Users & Groups in 10.8), & see if there's another user to log into, like the username of the one you migrated from.
I had previously seen the advice to look for a second user, but my mac mini has one user, the one I am logged in as. I am sure that a migration ocurred as my mail accounts, music, calendar, etc are all there. I just cant find the folders associated with one mail account, which was a primary business account for several years.
Can you network the computers for File Sharing, & instead of Migrating try Mail>File>Import Mailboxes?
Yes, they are still networked from original migration. Will try this solution.

I tried other user but no go.
I gave up and used a thrid party product which cost $12.95 but even then it was incredibly labourious.
With a little effort from the developers this should be a painless procedure. Migration Assistant is basic and shifts everything to a single file thus loosing the structure of most Outlook folders. Poor show.
