MacBook Pro freezes with a white screen after I log in, support says to download an update, but if it

s frozen, how do I update?

Thank you, I finally found the answer by looking at past messages. I held the shift key down during start up for a safe boot.

READ THIS FOR A SULOUTION!!!!!
Turn off your mac
When its off - Press and hold the option key (alt) and turn on your mac, keep hold the option key
When its in safemode do this:
Go to systemsettings
Users and groups
Login in items
Highlight all third-party apps - or one by one
Press on the minus.
Turn off your mac and turn it back on again.

After I updated my Mac Pro there was a white screen with words and numbers on the left side of the screen and I was not able to login can someone please help me solve this big problem :) Thanks
