5TH Generation iPods: Difference between 30GB & 60GB?

Question

5TH Generation iPods: Difference between 30GB & 60GB?

Besides harddrive size and another ounce or so in weight, is there any other difference between these models? In other words, if I get the 30GB model over the 60GB model, are there features I will be missing out on over the 60GB model or are the models identical in features?

They are identical in features. I believe the 60gb model is slightly thicker than the 30 though.

The 60GB also has a slightly larger battery than the 30GB... hence the slightly larger physical size of the iPod, as Bryan mentioned.
The 60GB has longer battery life than the 30GB as well.

yeah, however, if you plan on uploading a ton of videos on your iPod, definently go w/ the 60 gig one, because it would be a perfect fit. Otherwise, get the 30 gig one...

Yes, this is also true as well but not really a big deal to me. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to be missing out on features if I got the 30GB model but it appears that I won't be.

Nah, I doubt I will be uploading video, lol. What's the point? Maybe a clip here and there but certainly not movies. I don't see any excitment watching a movie on a 2.5" screen:)

BTW, it's my understanding that movies MUST be in the quicktime format to work with iPod? In that case, I could just convert to quicktime before I transfer?
