Why can't I factory reset my iPad?

Hi, I own a iPad 2

& well I forgot my restriction password

So because of this every time I go into settings>general>reset>erase all content and settings.

it asks for a password, so far i had 14 attempts and well i have no idea what to do

has anyone else gone through this, that is willing to help me out?

I already saved my music, apps, and pictures.
