error 306, can't connect to istore

Hi,

I am having trouble connecting to the istore. I keep getting error 306. If I try to go onto the app store via the apple menu it says I it can't get a secure connection then I get a flickering screen. I do have a wifi connection to other sites. I have the latest itunes 11.0.4 and OSX 10.8.4.

Do i need to reinstall itunes and if I do how do I do that?

Can someone please help.
