My wife was working on Pintrest, and all of the sudden her screen froze and it's been frozen for two days. I've tried to sync it with my itunes but she has passcode protection. Has anyone ran into this problem before, or does anyone know how I can resolve it?

Pinterest is an app that holds a ton of data in the cache - probably due to all of the sites that get "pinned" - and it can cause the device to freeze up or stall while it is "cleaning" it's cache.
Reboot the iPad and see if that fixes it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
