starting up with command and option key does not work

I have a problem with my iphoto libary. It does not start because of a sudden safety issue and if I read the manual I can solve the problem by use the command and option key when I start the Iphoto program. But.... it is not working. I get the same warning and not the Help program where I can reoganise the Iphot libary.

Who can help me?
