I presume the laptop is win7?

Did you install the airport utility for windows... ?? If not please do so.

    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1547

It includes bonjour for windows.. which is important.

In windows explorer.. type the name directly into the address bar.

    \\TCname

    or use the IP address

    \\TCIPaddress

You will replace TCname or TCIPaddress with the actual name or ip of course.

TCname should of course be SMB compatible.. short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.. not apple type name with spaces.. long as your arm.. and with apostrophe in it.

If you still have issues.. you have firewall problems on the PC.. or workgroup issues..

In the utility on the disk / file sharing page.. set workgroup to WORKGROUP and set guest access to read and write.

A homegroup in the computer may have bad effects.. but try the above first.
