how to turn on apple tv without remote
I lost my apple tv remote. I managed to download the Apple Tv remote app but found it doesn't power the apple tv device on. Is there a way to power on the apple tv without the remote that came with it?

Unplug it and restart it. USe remote app to turn the sleep mode off- it uses a tiny amount of electricity even if not sleeping.
