How do I transfer a picture album from my Ipod touch4 to my PC?

When I connect my Ipod touch to the PC and open "computer" in WIN7 it only displays pictures from internal memory that I took with the Ipod. How can I display the photo albums installed from Itunes and copy to my PC? Thanks much for any help.

iPod touch, iOS 6.0.1

After much searching I finally resolved my problem by purchasing a third party program "Touch Copy 12".
