I cannot install 10.8.4 on my MacBook Pro. It keeps requiring reboot and never allows the install. Any ideas?

Sometimes the App Store version doesn't work properly. In this case, you have to update to 10.8.4 through the Combo installer > http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1659 Make a backup of your data through Time Machine > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427
The Combo version allows you to update more than one Mac with a single download, and it's safer than the OS X 10.8.4 version you can install from the App Store
