I bought this imac 2nd hand. ran good for a month or so then stoped. I checked and thought the power supply went but seams the logic board went. I wanted to know can I use a logic board part number 661-3613 insted of the 1.8 gh board ?

Apple's logicboards are typically unique by chasis. If there are any differences in the chasis, then a different board applies. Have a look at http://www.everymac.com/ for details on what differences may exist. http://www.ifixit.com/ may help as well.
What iMac are you using? Is it the G5?
