is the genius side bar gone for good? It was so easy to find new songs I liked...

Why has Apple removed the Genius Side Bar in the iTunes program. For me it was responsible for hundreds of new songs added to my library. I know they wanted to make a move toward Ping, but that was never relevant to what songs I wanted to buy or liked that I didn't know about. That said Ping isn't an option ether. Apple if your reading this, Please incorporate the Genius Side Bar back into iTunes on the computer so when I highlight a song it give me other songs that are similar. Hunting through iTunes to find songs can be time consuming!
