Can't charge iPod Touch (4Gen) from Belkin mini surge protector.

I have used this many times in the past, but the iPod will no longer charge when plugged into a Belkin mini travel surge protector. I get an error message that the device is not compatible for charging.

iPod touch, iOS 4.3.2

- See:

- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
