Stop ask to sign in every time I start iTunes

This is becoming beyond silly and is the reason I rarely use iTunes anymore. Everytime I start it, it asks me to sign in. I don'[t want to sign in to use my personal library. Is there a way to stop this nonesense?

I'm about to use a different system. This is too combersom. Thanks,

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

how 'bout it, i'm so totally feeling you that i had to take a minute to comment to you (sorry, i don't have an answer for you but i do have the same problem and felt compelled to share another)... awhile back--after PAYING for a movie--itunes wouldn't let me access the thing!?! just getting a valid non-generic response was like pulling teeth (and i'd bought my macbook pro brand new and did i mention PAID for the flick they wouldn't let me access!?!) and it never did get resolved... i'd spent so much time trying to rectify the situation that i eventually just gave up, ate the cost and vowed to never EVER do any business other than absolutely necessary with "not-my-Tunes"... 😉 i just don't get why the simple is made to be so hard...?! have a fun day...
