Who makes the RAM and where was it purchased.
Correct and reliable Mac RAM can be purchased from online Mac RAM sources Crucial memory or OWC (macsales.com). If you are not from the U.S., both OWC and Crucial memory have international shipping. Crucial memory has multiple websites that cover the entire Earth.

Aug 22, 2013 11:04 AM in response to jelimooreby BDAqua,On the Hard Drive, make sure it is SATA 1.5Gb/s compatable.
Tiger Requirements...
To use Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, your Macintosh needs:
* A PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
* Built-in FireWire
* At least 256 MB of RAM (I recommend 1GB minimum)
* DVD drive (DVD-ROM), Combo (CD-RW/DVD-ROM) or SuperDrive (DVD-R) for installation
* At least 3 GB of free disk space; 4 GB if you install the XCode 2 Developer Tools (I recommend 20GB minimum)

Aug 22, 2013 1:16 PM in response to BDAquaby jelimoore,ok, new update. My mac is in the basement, which is about 3 degrees below the actual house temp, which (best guess) makes the contacts on the ram shrink(big problem)
Any suggestions appreciated for the 80th time
Jelimoore

Aug 22, 2013 1:29 PM in response to jelimooreby BDAqua,One person solved that on a G5 by having a Hair dryer run at the front grill for a few minutes first.

Aug 31, 2013 6:43 AM in response to BDAquaby jelimoore,Ok, I'm not sure the installation went well. I formatted my sata hard drive Mac osx extended(journaled) and APM
Based, I checked it in my actual new working Mac and it had no files, just 4 folders, but when I boot up, it shows the Mac boot screen, then after 10 seconds, it shows me the kernel panic, which says it has no driver installed for the power Mac g5.
Anything appreciated,
Jelimoore
