MD387 is the Late 2012 Mac mini, which supports 64-bit Windows 7 and 8 versions through Boot Camp.

It's easy to install Windows in Boot Camp, always that you follow the steps > http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/boot_camp_install-setup_10.8.pdf You will need a full or System Builder version of Windows 7 and 8.

Another option is to install Windows onto a virtual machine, using Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox. In this case, you can install the Windows version you want.

There are some differences between running Windows on Boot Camp and a virtual machine. See > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3321
