Q: Isight not working

a while back my late 2006 imac's isight went out. It stoped working on all applications in all accounts. I have checked the cables inside the mac, and they are still plugged in. any help would be appreceated.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), have replaced harddrive

Sounds like a hardware issue to me. Check out the following link, particularly step 3 to determine if the computer can detect the I sight camera. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2090

Backup your Mac and contact your Apple Authorized Service Provider for help.
