Trojan found on my macbook pro

User uploaded file

So I use Avast! anti-virus software, and it showed that I had a trojan. I deleted it, but I'm worried. Is this trojan something i should be worried about? Since i deleted it, did i harm anything in my computer from deleteing the file? I just need some peace of mind.

Even if the file was found on your Mac, OS X cannot open .exe files. Windows only.

No harm is done by deleting cache files infected or otherwise. For all you know Avast may have mis-identified something it thought was a trojan. Furthermore, the trojan itself is one that affects Windows.
