My email account that i used when I first began my apple product use was hacked, so I closed that email account down completely. Then I created a new apple ID and everything generally works great, but sometimes my iPad and iPhone want me to sign in to the old apple ID account and I can't. How can I stop this from happening?

    You may have apps installed that were purchased/installed under your old Apple ID. You're being prompted for your old Apple ID as those are attempting to update, since they're tied to that Apple ID. Update all the apps you can, remove the ones left over that require update, then install them under your new Apple ID.
