I've noticed a bit of this as well. My text is all left-justified so it become pretty apparent when the text reformats slightly. I get lines with leading spaces and stuff like that. I'm not sure why it happens, but at least when it happens it seems to be constant (not differing between browsers or window sizes) and it's pretty easy to fix. I just go back into iWeb and add or subtract spaces to "push" the text back into place.
If you would provide a url, someone might be able to help. It's not realistic to think that some problem you think you are having will some how get fixed in the next version. At the very least you need to document exactly what it is and send it in via the feedback item in the iWeb menu.
Thanks James for your constructive input. I haven't noticed that the leading changed just that the kerning and/or tracking changed. FYI, my text was justified.
I did however notice that where I had text flowing around an image and need to break the text into more than one text box that the space between the boxes increased. Do you know of any way to make text run around pictures like in XPress or Word?
I imagine that the browser wouldn't matter as it appears to me that the page(s) are formatted before being published.
Hi,
I did think of providing a url but since the original text isn't there there would be nothing to compare it with. I'm not sure what other info I could have provided that would have helped. Anyway, I had a reply from James who seemed to know exactly whay I was on about.
